Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Utilize sites that have existing services as listed below: 1) Testing of patients of all eligible age group populations who are both symptomatic and asymptomatic for COVID. 2) Vaccination of patients who meet established CDC criteria. 3) Provide, when necessary, a physician or provider encounter in order to prescribe therapeutics as identified by the prescribing physician or provider. 4) Therapeutic treatment directly or through referral, as prescribed by the physician or provider. B. Identify ideal sites that currently have the capacity to provide the following: 1) The sites shall be any provider who operates as an urgent care center, ambulatory care site, community provider or pharmacy offering physician or provider evaluation and management (E&M) services, laboratory and some diagnostic services operating with the necessary PPE provided to clinical and administrative staff, patients and visitors. Sites are required to operate no less than eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week; however, ideally, sites should operate during evening hours and on weekends. Sites that operate as hospital-based, Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) rate-regulated sites are excluded.
