This contract includes but is not limited to the following: A. Awarded Contractors shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, insurance, and services necessary to provide on-call mold remediation services and all necessary related work at City School buildings on an as needed basis, as requested by the City Schools Department of Environmental Compliance, and approved by Director of Logistics and Environmental Compliance. B. Mold remediation service work shall include, but not limited to: 1. Inspection & assessment services of various building structures. a. Contractors shall have trained and experienced technicians who are able to identify the extent and severity of mold contamination in a structure. b. Contractors shall support development of mold remediation protocols with well-defined objectives. c. Contractors shall be able to provide professional services for inspections of the schools, office buildings, warehouses, and storage facilities of City Schools. 2. Mold remediation services at various building structures. a. Contractors shall remediate all mold present in any impacted area(s). b. Foul air odor prevention requires finding the source of the unpleasant odor and eliminating or containing it by utilizing the latest technology to either eliminate the odor or seal up the area surrounding it. c. Contractor shall paint the cleaned areas, as necessary. 3. Mold remediation clearance testing services at various building structures. a. Contractors shall perform mold remediation testing to determine the success of the mold removal efforts in the area. b. Contractors shall provide a report that indicates the area(s) that have been remediated and are and safe for occupants to enter to the City Schools representative upon completing work. c. Mold remediation testing shall also consist of visual assessment for mold growth in the area(s)
