The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC) – Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) – Strategic Sourcing Directorate (SSD), intends to acquire Parts to support the AN/APR-39C(V)1 Radar Signal Detecting Set.
Requirements Description:
NSN 6130-01-048-5922; POWER SUPPLY, Mounted in the instrument panel the indicator displays specific threat symbols for each threat signal processed and identified. BRIL control adjusts display brightness. Indicator display is visible in full daylight and is compatible with night vision systems. The Indicator contains day (Red) and night (ANVIS Yellow) missile alert (MA) lamps. The night MA lamp is compatible with night vision systems. The Power Supply provides the required primary voltage. Suppliers capable of producing/supplying the Government must include documentation such as test results, copy of prior purchase order(s) if the supplier produced the item. Any new manufacturer for the item could be subject to First Article Testing FAT. The supplier must demonstrate that they can supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units currently used with the AN/APR-39 Family of System. Suppliers may find obsolescence issues with certain items; in which case they should address their mitigation plan to resolve such a problem. Potential suppliers may be required to warrant that these items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The Radar Data Processor and components are export controlled/sensitive items. A technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of this item is available from the Army. Some errors may be embedded in the drawing package. Interested Sources should possess the following test equipment in working condition, Radar Signal Simulator Set (SM-674A/UPM) and Test Adapter (MX-9848A), IP-1150A and fixture to conduct the Test Procedure. Responding suppliers are asked to indicate their size status in relation to the applicable NAICS code 33451 and size standard 750. The Government does possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The TDP is available for conditional release. The TDP includes level 3. production information.
The power supply 01-048-5922 , component of the Indicator 01-274-4939 were both procured on the previous and expired 5YR IDIQ contract SPRBL1-16-D-0042 with Mnemonics Inc. The Indicator is obsolete with no current source of supply but the power supply should be procurable from the original vendor.
