Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The contractor shall inspect service, lubricate and adjust all the kitchen equipment listed in the attachment as recommended by the manufacturer. 2. The contractors' technician/representative shall have in his possession a copy of each equipments specification when performing service. 3. The contractor shall provide emergency service or repairs on an as-called basis. The contractors response to emergency calls shall be within four hours. The contractor shall provide a telephone number where a designated representative may at all times be contacted. The Maryland School for the Deaf will determine what constitutes an emergency. 4. The contractor shall perform preventative maintenance two (2) times per year on all equipment listed and de-liming the Cleveland Steamer four (4) times per year. The first scheduled preventive maintenance visit shall be during the month of August of the contract year. The second scheduled preventive maintenance visit shall be during the last two weeks of December, while students are away from school for the Christmas recess. The two additional services to the Cleveland Steamer to be determined by Food Service Manager. The exact date and time shall be arranged with the Maintenance Supervisor or his representative two weeks prior to the maintenance/inspection visit. Contractors ' Responsibilities: 1. The contractor shall have at least five (5) continuous years of immediate prior experience maintaining equipment of the type included in this contract. They shall also possess sufficient financial responsibility, technical ability, shop equipment and technical organization and demonstrated the ability to maintain equipment of the types covered by these specifications. 2. The contractor shall furnish with their bid a listing of personnel who will perform the work covered by this specification, including the length and type of experience of each person. The successful bidder shall notify the procurement officer within five (5) business days in writing of any change in personnel servicing the equipment covered in these specifications. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all tools, test equipment, labor, parts, materials/materiel, transportation and documentation necessary to the accomplishment of these specifications. The owner shall not be charged for minor items such as nuts, bolts, insulation tape, wire nuts small pieces of wire and other incidentals. All parts declared non-repairable by the contractor shall be released to the owner. 4. The state reserves the right to solicit bids from other vendors for repairs not covered by these specifications.
