Tilt Fixture
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is N001174-21-Q-0074 and this is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This announcement will be issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract, the award will be made based on the lowest price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332722.
STATEMENT OF WORK
for MK 23 MOD 0 Tilt Fixture with “Kit A”
1.0 General/Purpose
The Mk 23 Mod 0 Tilt Fixture with Kit “A” (VLS) is required as support equipment for the VLS program.
2.0 Requirement
2.1 The Contractor shall manufacture One (1) ea MK 23 Mod Tilt Fixture, with Kit “A” in accordance with the requirements of attached drawing DL 6213763 Rev C (Base) and DL 6213764 Rev C (Kit “A” VLS).
2.2 The Contractor shall serialize the containers as it is required. To obtain serial numbers, the contractor shall contact the Naval Sea Systems Command, Code SEA06L24, 1333 Isaac Hull Avenue SE, B201 4W-132, Washington, DC 20376 immediately upon contract award to ensure serial numbers are available to meet delivery requirements. 3.0 Inspection/Acceptance
Inspection and Acceptance will be conducted at the delivery locations.
