The NIST Public Affairs Office (PAO) supports NIST’s mission by providing high-quality, strategic communications that focus on NIST and Administration priorities, highlight NIST’s unique services and capabilities, and celebrate science and discovery. These communication activities are critical for disseminating information about research findings and new technologies to U.S. industry, for attracting collaboration and enhancing relationships with our stakeholders. PAO’s Media Liaison Group (MLG) requires a subscription license to a media database that includes comprehensive, up-to-date lists of news media contacts, including accurate email addresses.

AMENDMENT 0001 is issused to provide Government response to Industry Questions, update Statement of Work and extend the due date for offers as follows:
- The SOW refers to 10 licenses and an additional 2. Could you identify what products the ten users and two users are for – are they for the media monitoring solution or the media contact database and press release distribution solution? Government Response: All licenses would be for both the media monitoring solution and the media contact database and press release distribution solution.
- The SOW refers to 10 PAO staff and 2 additional licenses. Should all 12 seats be users/editors, or should the two additional seats be for reader subscriptions? Government Response: All licenses should include all privileges. Provide ten (10) licenses for simultaneous use of its integrated media relations solution. Government requires unique user login credentials for ten (10) PAO staff. Provide set-up instructions for all usernames.
- Would NIST like to be able to disseminate articles to more than one wire service? If so, does NIST want pricing options related to the cost of submitting to 1 newswire, 10 newswires, and 25 newswires? Government Response: PAO is not interested in disseminating articles via wire service.
- In addition, LexisNexis respectfully requests a due date extension of 5 working days so that we can provide the most through response possible. Government Response: The due date for offers is extended to August 19, 2025 by 2:00pm Eastern Time.
