This information is an important tool in providing price transparency to farmers and consumers. Producers need accurate local pricing to make educated risk management decisions. Under a grant from the USDA-Agriculture Marketing Service, MDA will select a market reporting company certified by the United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Services to provide this data.
