The base scope includes platform modifications, systems work, shelter improvements, and ADA compliance. Platform Modifications will include raising the platforms to allow for ADA-compliant level boarding for the new LFLRVs and will be completed in two stages. • Stage 1 – As required during the TMP, raise each platform as required to accommodate in service LFLRV boarding and maintain the balance of the platform as required for HFLRVs . • Stage 2 – Fully raise platforms and remove high block(s). Shelter Improvements will include replacing existing non-ADA compliant shelters as well as installing shelters at stations that currently do not have a shelter. ADA Compliance will include the Progressive Design-Builder’s addressing and accounting for existing conditions in raising the platforms and keeping ADA Compliance throughout construction for passenger crossings, retaining walls and other station-specific infrastructure. Sag & Crest Vertical Curve Track Alignment Repairs will be required at the following seven locations: • Vertical Curve P-9-1 • Vertical Curve N-54-1 • Vertical Curve N-54-2 • Vertical Curve N-65-1 • Vertical Curve N-65-2 • Vertical Curve N-72-74-1 • Vertical Curve N-72-74-2
