SOILED LAUNDRY PICK-UP 2.3.1.1 The Contractor shall pick-up soiled laundry at ESHC one day per week on Tuesdays from the loading dock area at the rear of the hospital. The soiled laundry shall be picked up in containers constructed of a material that is non-absorbent, mobile, and suitable for bulk transport of laundry, and can be cleaned and disinfected after each pick-up. These containers shall be provided by the Contractor and approved by ESHC. Pick-up times will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CLEAN LAUNDRY 2.3.2.1 All clean laundry delivered by the Contractor to ESHC shall be in containers or carts. The containers/carts used for soiled laundry pick-up shall also be used for clean laundry delivery. For the purpose of this IFB, the term container and cart will be used interchangeably. These carts shall be provided by the Contractor and approved by ESHC. The Contractor shall steam clean the carts to remove any visible soiling and then sprayed them with ESHC approved disinfectant before being reused. After a cart is dry, it will be lined before being filled with clean linens.
