3.1.1. Prince George’s County Facilities welcome thousands of County residents and visitors to our county buildings every year. The County facilities need to convey the appearance of an efficient, well-run County. The outward appearance of the grounds, lawns, flower beds, plantings, etc., is the first thing residents, visitors, and employees see when visiting County buildings. Our lawns and landscaping need to reflect the pride and care the County’s government representatives, employees, and residents feel regarding our County. 3.1.2 Routine landscaping and grounds maintenance services include but are not limited to: General maintenance of exterior of county facilities, parking garages, landscape vegetation, fertilization, aeration, mulching, weed control, pruning and trimming, edging of walks, curbs, flower beds and trees, removal of grass clippings, sweeping parking lot, irrigation, leaf removal and overseeding. 3.1.3. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Landscaping Services for all 43 designated locations that are mentioned in attachment H, encompassing both Office of Central Services – Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance (OCS-FOM) sites and Fire Department facilities, as detailed in this solicitation. The awarded bidders will be responsible for providing all specified landscaping services at each of these locations throughout the County as mentioned in Attachment H.
