Specifications include, but are not limited to:The contractor shall work primarily with the MSDE/JSES Special Education Coordinator and/or the school-based Lead Special Educator to provide occupational therapy, speech language services and physical therapy as indicated on the student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). This shall include up to 20 hours a month of direct occupational therapy, speech and language services and physical therapy. Offeror may bid on one and/or all of these services. Duties and Responsibilities Screenings Assessments, including report preparation Ongoing therapy and make-up sessions Planning lesson Indirect therapy (e.g. Consultations with teachers, parents, medical personnel, etc). Attendance at IEP meetings Participation in mediation/due process hearings Prepare and submit therapy intervention summary in accordance to established criteria for each contact made. Prepare and submit written progress monthly logs on student serviced Develop typewritten/computer reports in accordance with established criteria on students referred by the IEP team. Attend student’s IEP meetings in person or by phone. Assume responsibility for travel to the assigned facility. Communicating with families/guardians per IEP
