Statement of Work (SOW) GE113D Dehumidifier Repair and Replacement Washington DC VA Medical Center 50 Irving St. NW, Washington DC 20422 1. Introduction This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the repair and replacement of the existing GE113D dehumidifier at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, located at 50 Irving St. NW, Washington DC 20422. The scope includes the supply and installation of a new Aprilaire dehumidifier. 2. Scope of Work 2.1 Assessment and Removal - Contractor shall assess the existing GE113D dehumidifier to confirm that replacement is necessary. - Safely disconnect and remove the existing GE113D dehumidifier, ensuring all utility connections (electrical, drainage, etc.) are properly terminated according to code. 2.2 Supply of New Equipment - Contractor shall supply a new Aprilaire dehumidifier, appropriate in capacity and specifications to meet or exceed the performance of the existing GE113D unit. - All equipment supplied must be new and covered by the manufacturer s warranty. 2.3 Installation - Install the new Aprilaire dehumidifier in the location of the previous unit. - Ensure all electrical and drainage connections are made according to manufacturer s instructions and local codes. - Secure the unit and ensure proper leveling, airflow, and access for future maintenance. - Test the unit to verify correct operation and performance. 2.4 Cleanup and Disposal - Remove all debris, old equipment, and packaging materials from the site. - Dispose of the old dehumidifier and all waste materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. 2.5 Training and Documentation - Provide basic operational training to designated VA Medical Center personnel. - Supply all documentation, including manufacturer s manuals, warranty information, and installation records. 3.
