Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 Provide eligible non-public school children enrolled in participating schools with supplemental educational services. These services shall include educational materials in the core curriculum content areas with a concentration in Reading/Language Arts, Writing and Mathematics.3.2 Use program resources (technology, written materials of instruction, manipulatives, and web-based learning platforms) to help participating students meet the expected challenging student academic standards; 3.3 Provide student work samples for ongoing monitoring of student performance;3.4 Use effective methods and evidence-based instructional strategies that provides a high-quality curriculum; 3.5 Support the educational program in the classroom with supplemental instruction either in person or online;3.6 Provide instruction by professionals who meet the state qualifications for teachers (preferred) in accordance with Every Student Succeeds Act in regards to equitable services;3.7 Provide non-public school teachers of participating children an equitable opportunity and consideration to be hired for the extended learning time; 3.8 Develop a pool of qualified educators that can serve in the capacity as a substitute in the event of an absence and/or vacancy of the assigned teacher, to prevent loss of instructional services;3.9 Provide an ongoing review/report of the participating children’s academic progress and modify the program and/or services, if necessary, to provide more effective services for the participants based on results from student assessment data, classroom teacher input, and/or site observations conducted by PGCPS staff; 3.10 Monitor the instruction and program services by providing monthly written and verbal feedback to the ESSA and Title I Department regarding the delivery and progress of instructional services for participating students
