Specifications include, but are not limited to: This request for technical and Budget Proposals issued by St. Mary’s County Board of Education (SMCPS) is for the supply, installation, and implementation of Access Control System (ACS) for an indefinite number of facilities at St. Mary’s County Public Schools. This contract is for a one year term with two one year options for renewals. It is anticipated that several installations of Access Control Systems will be made in 2016-2017. SMCPS has made a comprehensive review of its ACS system. SMCPS desires to move to an ACS system with the capability of operating simultaneously with its existing system and will operate on a virtual server environment. The current system is based on PremiSys software, cards, access control units (ACU’s), industry card readers (wired and wireless), compatible door locks and hardware (interior and exterior), and door alarms. The systems must be IP addressable and capable of remote programming and reporting.
