Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Program implementation for new non-existing service members, veterans and/or their families programming is expected to begin by the third month of the award. B. Applicants must indicate the total number of unduplicated individuals that will be served over the grant period. C. Grantees will be required to collect individual client-level data according to the data elements that are established and specified by BHA. The department will provide grantees with a data dictionary that defines each data element. D. Award recipients must use Hixson funds to support at least one of the following direct services to eligible individuals: 1. Screening for mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. 2. Delivery of trauma-informed, culturally competent, client-centered, and evidence-based mental health and substance use disorders treatment services including complementary and alternative therapy services. 3. Case management and care coordination services. 4. Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Services. 5. Use of telehealth and/or telemedicine services.
