I. Task 1 – Data Collection – This shall be a lump sum task A. The Consultant shall review all available background data on the project site in addition to the Project Specific documents available. If the information is not available from the City, the Consultant shall make all reasonable efforts to secure information available from other sources. B. These items may include, but not be limited to: 1. Headwaters drainage study final report; 2. Plans and As-builts; 3. Inspection forms; 4. Computations; 5. GIS Data; 6. Utilities; 7. Soils; and 8. Property line and easement information. C. The Consultant may request additional information from the City. The City does not warrant any information provided and the information shall be used as a reference only. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all information provided. II. Task 2 – Kick-off Meeting – This shall be paid for per each subtask. (outlined below) A. Task 2a – Kick-off Meeting Prior to conducting the survey, the Consultant shall conduct a Kick-off meeting with City staff for the following main purposes: 1. Review concept plans and fact sheets. 2. Gather historical data on the project site. 3. Discuss existing issues and refine project goals. 4. Evaluate options and methods. 5. Consider site constraints and construction access. 6. Identify concerns (i.e. “red flags”). B. The Consultant shall conduct an independent field walk prior to the meeting to visually assess the conditions of the project site and include the information in the Kick-off Meeting. The Consultant shall submit the following recommendations to the City within five (5) business days of the Kick-off Meeting: 1. Design limits; and 2. Survey limits. C. The Consultant shall not proceed to the next task prior to receiving approval for these limits. D. The City shall provide a response within five (5) business days. E. Task 2b – Kick-off Meeting Field Walk (optional)
