A. The Work under this section consists of furnishing all materials, accessories, equipment, tools, transportation; and performing all services and labor required to furnish and erect all temporary utilities, barriers, enclosures, equipment, storage, etcetera, and incidental items required for safeguarding construction, alterations, and demolition while on the owners’ property. All safeguards shall meet the provisions of this Section, but not less than the applicable edition of NFPA-241 Standard for Safeguarding Construction, Alterations, and Demolition Operation. B. This section sets forth basic policy and provides guidance for best practice methods for Meritus Health’s Facilities Engineering and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) employees to manage contractors’ performance on Meritus Health property.
