The Successful Bidder shall provide wastewater pumping services and jet (Vactor type) services during emergency events, including heavy rains, and septic tank, holding tank, and grease trap pumping services for the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works and other County agencies. 1.2 Services shall also be available for pumping and hauling from sewage pump stations that do not have backup power after severe storms or for unplanned station failures. Hauling equipment shall be able to load wastewater onto the Successful Bidder’s vehicle. 1.3 This Contract shall service eight (8) Wastewater Treatment Plants (also known as WRFWater Reclamation Facility) to include approximately two hundred sixty-five (265) sewage pumping stations. 1.4 The Successful Bidder shall be responsible for securing all tank/wet well lids upon completion of pumping. 1.5 The Successful Bidder shall be able to furnish pump and jet (Vactor type) trucks to provide for other related services as needed in the contract service area, such as manhole pumping, pumping station clean out, etc. 1.6 Wastewater collected under this Contract shall not be mixed with other septage/waste material. 1.7 The County will request service only on an as-needed basis, with the exception of Jessup Fire Station, 7891 Max Blobs Park Road, Jessup, Maryland 20794. The Jessup Fire Station tank will be serviced up to three (3) times per week, preferably on Friday. The frequency and day of service are subject to change at the sole discretion of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The pumping and jetting locations and service schedule can be found in Sections 14.0 and 15.0.
