Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 Contractor shall be responsible for providing Gymnastics and Tumbling classes for students enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade which feature stations and a variety of activities. Instructors must utilize safe spotting and teaching techniques during these classes. 2.1.2 School year classes shall be held one time per week for a period of one hour and offered in 3 eight-week sessions beginning in late September through the second week of June. Specific dates and times shall be mutually agreed, in writing between P&R and the Contractor. 2.1.3 Week long Summer camps shall be held for 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, beginning the last week of June through the last week of July. Specific dates and times shall be mutually agreed, in writing between P&R and the Contractor. Program Requirements: 2.2.1 Activity area shall consist of tumbling and skills stations with at least one Instructor or Instructors Assistant assigned to each station. 2.2.2 Each station shall be age appropriate and safe for teaching applicable gymnastic skills. 2.2.3 Program shall be suited to people of various fitness levels and must take those levels into account throughout the entire class. 2.2.4 Participants shall be broken into groups according to age. 2.2.5 The classes shall be conducted at several recreation center locations, which must include, but are not limited to, the following recreation centers: Thurmont, Middletown, Walkersville, Deer Crossing, Centerville and Tuscarora 2.2.6 Preschool (3-5 yr. olds) shall be conducted on ½ of the gym for the second hour of the program and tumbling shall be conducted on the other ½ of the gymnasium. 2.2.7 Classes cost shall not exceed the range of $80.00-$90.00 per participant, per program. 2.2.8 Contractor and County will mutually determine, in writing, program participation maximum and minimum numbers.
