Removal and proper disposal of the existing roofing system down to the structural wood deck. Inspection and repair of roof decking as necessary (include unit pricing for deck repair in proposal). Install a single base layer of 1” Polyiso Insulation board over the plank roof deck, R value 5.7. Installation of new ¼” tapered insulation system from front to back with ½” tapered crickets at the scuppers. Tapered insulation package is to have an average R value of 38.87. All insulation will be mechanically fastened through the plank roof deck. Minimum insulation thickness will be 1.5” The maximum thickness will be 14.5”. Provide an alternate cost to fully adhere insulation to plank roof deck. Install a ½” High density cover board over the new tapered insulation to prepare for solar installation. Installation of a .060 mil white TPO membrane roofing system to the new insulation using induction weld technology. Wind Speed Warranty is to be 72 miles per hour. Lower all scuppers and install new through wall scuppers. Install new conductor heads with new downspouts. Downspouts will be run above grade. Flashing of all penetrations, curbs, and parapets per manufacturer specifications. Installation of new 24-gauge Kynar coated steel coping cap at the perimeter parapet. Daily clean-up of all debris generated from the roofing activities. Ensure all roofing components are installed in accordance with manufacturer requirements to obtain a transferrable 20-year minimum manufacturer’s warranty. Final inspection and manufacturer’s warranty registration.
