This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for market research purposes. Depending on the results of this Sources Sought, a Direct 8(a) award, Competitive 8(a) award or a 100% Small Business Set-aside award may be made. All socio-economic groups are also welcome to respond. All interested SBA Certified vendors with the capability to provide laundry and dry-cleaning services in accordance with the draft PWS, attached, as well as FAR 19.809 Limitations on subcontracting and the nonmanufacturer rule and, are encouraged to respond.
In response to this sources sought, please provide:
1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code.
2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any.
3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (including size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.
4. 8(a) firms that respond to this Sources Sought shall own and operate a laundry and dry-cleaning facility within 60 miles of Fort Meade and have the ability to perform the services required. A company is not compliant with FAR 19.809 who does not own the required facility. Picking up and delivering laundry and dry-cleaning being done by another vendor is not acceptable.
5. Having a SAM.gov registration under multiple NAICs Codes does not demonstrate the ability of your firm to perform under a specific NAICs Code. A full capability statement with verifiable performance of same or similar services is required.

6. The contracting office reserves the right to make a direct award dependent upon soci-economic goals.
