Specifications include, but are not limited to: FIREARMS STUDY - RESEARCH; collect, study, analyze, and present specific data regarding certain firearm crimes, including those involving injuries, fatalities, and crime firearms. Three reports will be completed under this project. The first report and its findings, studying information from August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020, must be completed and presented on or before December 1, 2022. The second report, concerning data collected from August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2021, must be completed and presented on or before December 1, 2023. The third and final report, concerning data collected from August 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, must be completed and presented on or before December 1, 2024; a. Information regarding firearm crimes committed in the State for the relevant annual period, including: 1. The number and types of crime firearms. For example: i. Crimes of violence; ii. Illegal transfers; iii. Illegal possession; iv. Illegal transportation; and v. Straw purchases 2. The number and types of criminal charges associated with a crime firearm. 3. The sources of the crime firearms, including the importer, dealer, and first purchaser for all recovered crime firearms; b. Information regarding 9-1-1 requests for emergency assistance involving firearm crimes, including: 1. The jurisdiction; 2. Whether any arrests were made and, if so, the age of each individual arrested;; c. Information regarding firearm injuries and fatalities occurring in the State for the relevant annual period, including: 1. Whether persons injured or killed were minors or adults; 2. The jurisdiction where the injures or fatalities occurred; and 3. Whether the injuries or fatalities occurred as a result of suicides, accidents, or homicides; d. Compile all available information and data regarding the source of crime firearms, including: 1. For out-of-state crime firearms: i. The country, state, or city of origin; and ii. The location in the State where the crime firearms was recovered; 2. For in-State crime firearms: i. The jurisdiction of origin; and ii. The location where the crime firearm was recovered;
