Design - Develop preliminary, intermediate, final, and bid-ready design documents as required for each task. Design disciplines typically required include civil, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, process engineering, instrumentation, process control, hydraulics, and environmental. Services necessary to execute design projects may include: i. Project Controls and CPM scheduling – Develop project schedules and perform schedule reviews for logic, durations, constraints, sequencing, resource loading, and costing. ii. Accumulation and analysis of data – Accumulate and review applicable data, criteria, standards, regulations and other information pertinent to the work. Verify existing conditions that may affect or be affected by the design, even if as-builts exist.
