The purpose of this contract is to secure reliable, qualified snow and ice control support for Prince George’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) during the winter operational season, typically from November 1 through April 15. The Contractor shall provide fully operational, roadworthy vehicles, qualified operators, and on-site supervision to support all snow and ice control operations as directed by DPW&T. Contractors are expected to maintain designated routes in a safe, drivable, and continuously passable condition for the duration of each event. Assigned units must remain in service until officially released by the County's Authorized Representative. Contractors shall operate with the full understanding that this work is critical to public safety and demands precision, compliance, and professionalism.
