1. The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors for a Site Assessment and Design of approximately 8,000 linear feet of nature-based shoreline protection in the village district of Middle Hoopers Island; design for the restoration of tidal wetlands which have disappeared or are in danger of inundation in that same area; and to provide a plan for the possible raising of approximately 3,500 linear feet of Hoopersville Road through the village in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. The approximate area for shoreline protection and road raising design is indicated on the map shown on Attachment 1. 2. The County is utilizing a combination of Federal, State and local funds for this project.
