Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services required will consist of providing professional and support staff to assist the Office ofEmergency Management and Homeland Security for a wide variety of emergency management andhomeland security services and support. Contractor must be capable of explaining, defending andjustifying the various aspects and conclusions of a project before senior management, electedofficials, regulatory agencies, technical experts, the general public and different types of media, asdirected.Contractor will be required to effectively manage the work and complete the project in a timely andcost effective manner. Contractor must develop a general work plan in conjunction with OEMHS,and will regularly track progress and update OEMHS as required for the duration of the project.The following is a description of potential tasks within the scope of the resultant contract:(a) Development of response capability and readiness plans, and associated materialsi. Review and update existing emergency plans and/or drafting emergency plans. Plans mayinclude but are not limited to Emergency Operations Plans, Debris Plans, Sheltering Plans,Continuity of Operations Plans, and Resource Management Plans. Contractor will be required towork with various departments and agencies incorporating feedback and concurrence from allprimary and support agencies. This task may include development of a documentation process toorganize and document the County's full complement of emergency plans. It may also includethe development of end products such as wall posters to detail each agency's role, and pocketguides and field guides for each Emergency Support Function
