NIST intends to acquire an online subscription to the IEEE/Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) Electronic library (IEL) for unlimited access, by both the NIST Gaithersburg and Boulder campuses. The IEEE/IET Electronic Library includes more than 5.8 million full text documents including journals, conference proceedings, and standards in the areas of areas of aerospace and defense, automotive engineering, biomedical engineering, biometrics, circuits and systems, communications, computer hardware/software, electronics, energy, engineering, imaging, information technology, medical devices, nanotechnology, optics, petroleum and gas, power electronics, power systems, robotics and automation, semiconductors, smart grid and wireless broadband. Content includes a) over 200 IEEE journal, magazine, and transaction titles; b) 30+ IET journal and magazine titles; c) 1,700+ IEE conference titles; d) 25+ IET conference and seminar digests; 3) 3,800+ approved and published IEEE standards; f) backfiles to 1884 (for many titles); and g) INSPEC abstract/citation and bibliographic records.
