Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Rockville is soliciting competitive quotes to provide crowd management, backstage security, overnight security and parking services for its Hometown Holidays Music Festival, Independence Day Celebration as well as other events on an as needed basis. Successful bidders should have extensive experience in all areas of event and security services. Assignments including crowd management areas will be responsible for securing stage front and front of house areas ensuring guest and performer safety. Responsibilities include limiting spectator access to controlled areas such as backstage areas, performer areas, safety zones and security walkways. Backstage Security will be responsible for monitoring access points to authorized individuals and providing security services to production and artist areas. Staff must be attentive to backstage items and equipment including dressing rooms, tenting, artist equipment, and production equipment. Overnight Security will monitor the festival site and event area during the overnight hours and while the festival is “dark”. Responsibilities include monitoring and securing exhibitor areas, stages, and production and operations areas to prevent theft and damage to equipment and property.
