This invitation for bids is for the purchase of the following: ENHANCING BIKING AND BIKE SAFETY – BIKE FLEETS 2025 Complete bike fleets and accessories for three (3) locations: two (2) schools and 1 recreation center as detailed below. The vendor must coordinate with each location to finalize bike sizing, confirm an appropriate installation location for storage, and schedule delivery and setup. Equipment Required per Location: 1. 7 Haro Shredder Bikes, various sizes (finalized with each location). All bikes must be the same make and model with uniform or interchangeable components (e.g., brakes, tires, drivetrain) to ensure consistency in maintenance and ease of repair. 2. 2 Kick Scooters; 3. 1 Balance Bike; 4. 1 30ft Braided Security Cable; 5. 1 Cable Lock; 6. 4 Bike Rodeo Signs o 2 “STOP” signs o 2 “Pedestrian Crossing” signs; 7. 3 Educational Bike Safety Banners o ABC Spin Check o Rules of the Road o Helmet Fit; 8. 28 Helmets, age-appropriate; 9. 1 Helmet Storage Rack; 10. 1 Portable Basic Bike Toolkit, including at minimum: o Tire levers o Chain tool o Multi-tool with hex keys and screwdrivers o Lubricant/grease o Tire patch kit (7 minimum) o Portable air pump with gauge All tools and pump must be stored in a portable, weather-resistant case or bag; 11. 1 Wall-Mounted Bike Storage Unit suitable for storing a minimum of 14 bicycles and 7 kick scooters. o Must include a vertical or swing-arm style system to securely hold the bikes of the ground and be suitable for outdoor installation o Must meet Class I long-term storage standards, including: Secure anchoring Weather protection Proper spacing: minimum 2 ft of side clearance and 7 ft of overhead clearance Proximity to entrances (within 50 ft), well-lit and accessible o Vendor must meet with each school to determine installation location and schedule. Installation must be completed prior to the April 17 deadline.
