Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work will include the following: • Replacement of approximately 45’ of 2” type “L” copper piping, including all appropriate fittings needed to reconnect the pipe to the fire protection tank in an underground vault and to the supply system in the mechanical room. • Replacement of approximately 55’ of 3/4” type “L” copper piping, including all appropriate fittings needed to reconnect the pipe to the fire protection tank in an underground vault and to the air compressor tank in the mechanical room. • This work includes but is not limited to: o Fencing removal and replacement o Concrete and site work o Reseeding o Repairs to grounds that may be disrupted as a result of this work o Work to reroute ¾” air compressor line within the vault and mechanical room (currently the ¾” compressed air airline and the 2” water supply line are running in separate locations underground; the intent is to replace both the 2” and ¾” lines in the same trench.) • The contractor will be responsible for all permits as needed. • All work will occur and be coordinated with the Department of Maintenance; the contractor should assume that the majority of this work will occur during winter break (December 19 through December 30, 6:30am – 3:00pm, Monday through Friday).
