Specifications include, but are not limited to: Plowing & Applying Winter Abrasives Criteria: Locations 1 through 9, will require service if two (2) or more inches of frozen precipitation falls on the roadways or parking lots. Winter abrasives should be applied to the roadways or parking lots while the roadway or parking lot is being plowed at all locations (locations 1 – 9). Roads Division personnel will contact successful Contractor(s) when service is required for Location 10 and County roads. Applying Winter Abrasives Only Criteria: Winter abrasives should be applied to parking lots and roadways for locations 1-9, if conditions require, due to thawing and freezing of packed precipitation or ice storms).
