Scope of Work MAP is seeking the services of a marketing and communications firm or independent consultant to: · Develop a statewide marketing and outreach plan and sample materials that are coordinated and comprehensive, to educate the public, targeted populations, and internal stakeholders about MAP. The marketing and outreach plan will include, but not be limited to the following functions: o Branding and imaging (coordinated with Searchable Data Base Website design contractor) o Create a sample print advertisement o Direct mail o Ongoing public relations campaign and message strategies o Audience research o Public outreach activities The selected vendor will utilize the following resources to assist in completion of the project: · Ongoing consultation with MDoA · Consultation, at least one time, with MAP Searchable Data Base Website design contractor to coordinate marketing and outreach activities related to a MAP Website[1] · Two (2) focus groups of two (2) hours duration each o The first focus group of up to 30 members (inclusive of members of the MAP Advisory Board, other agency and organizational partners locally and at the state level and the current or potential local MAP sites). The purpose of the focus group is to review and comment on the marketing and outreach plan. o The second focus group may be composed of the same representatives and will review a further refinement of the marketing and outreach plan. Focus group members will be selected by MDoA.
