A. This Procurement is for the manufacture and delivery of new Monoblock Concrete Ties with cast shoulders for replacement of damaged ties on designated existing Light Rail ballasted track. B. The drawing of a typical monoblock concrete tie in the Appendix shows the required measurements and geometry of the new ties. Each tie shall be supplied with two cast iron shoulders, e-clips, insulators, and rail pads conforming to the requirements specified. C. The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, equipment, tools, and testing equipment to manufacture and deliver the ties to the Administration. D. The Contractor shall provide the following specified accessories: 1. Pandrol e-2055 rail clips, galvanized– 4,000 each 2. Pandrol rail pads – 2,000 each 3. Pandrol nylon insulators – 4,000 each 4. Orgo-Thermit weld kits consisting of degradable crucible with cap, thermit portion molds, diverging plug, 10-pound bag of luting sand, and an igniter.
