a. Identify the number of septic tanks and grease traps requiring pumping at each location (inventory provided). b. Ensure clear and safe access to all septic tanks and grease traps designated for pumping. c. Provide a visual inspection for signs of damage, cracks or leaks in the tanks and traps. d. Utilize a properly equipped pumping vehicle with sufficient capacity and hoses to remove and transport the septage and (FOG) fats, oils and grease. e. Securely attach pumping hose, pump contents from septic tanks and grease traps, including scum, sludge and liquid. f. Monitor pumping process to ensure complete removal of septage (septic tanks) and fats oil and grease (grease traps). g. Transport the pumped materials to an approved disposal facility in accordance with all relevant local regulations. h. Address and clean any spillage or leaks resulting from the pumping process.
