The City of New Carrollton, Maryland is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install new heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in the Mechanic Shop located at the Department of Public Works (DPW) Facility. The City seeks energy-efficient, reliable, and cost-effective HVAC solutions that will provide year-round comfort for DPW personnel and ensure a safe working environment. The Mechanic Shop are a critical part of the City’s Public Works operations, used daily for vehicle and equipment maintenance. The existing HVAC systems are outdated and no longer adequate. The City intends to replace and upgrade to modern HVAC equipment with improved heating and cooling capacity, better energy efficiency, and enhanced indoor air quality.
