Specifications include, but are not limited to: The construction of a 65,837 square foot new partial two story structure with the classroom wing being two floors. Construction is basic slab on grade, structural steel floor, and roof framing with metal deck. Exterior is brick veneer with masonry backup and metal panel. Roofing is SBS built-up. Windows are punched opening with exterior and interior storefront. Interior framing is masonry and metal stud with drywall and acoustical ceilings. Flooring is VCT and carpet. Gym floor is wood. There is a single two-stop hydraulic elevator. Site work includes play areas, tennis courts, driveways, parking lots, and pedestrian walkways. The primary cooling plant is a chiller with heat recovery. Primary heating is a condensing boiler array. A new service and outdoor, pad mounted transformer and main switchboard will provide power. Distribution panel boards and stepdown transformers are installed throughout the building. Lighting is LED throughout. Fire alarm system, access control system, and surveillance systems are new. The building is to receive a complete fire suppression system. A new domestic water service and new sanitary service are to be provided. The project includes demolition of existing site improvements including buildings, utility structures, tennis courts, pavements and other site improvements.
