Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Headquarters (CMS) Back on Campus-Phase 4
SOLICITATION NOTICE
The General Services Administration is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments for the CMS Phase 4 project.
This Solicitation is set-aside for Small Businesses, in accordance with FAR 19.
Statement of Need:
The General Services Administration (GSA) requires repairs and modernizations at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. The project site was originally built in 1993 to 1995 and is a 800,000 square foot campus, consisting of four buildings (North, South, Central and Warehouse). The general scope of the project includes renovation of approximately 32 restrooms, approximately 13,000 square feet of the first floor space in the Central Building into a conference space, and an alternate for the replacement of two (2) deteriorating culverts with one (1) concrete culvert.
The work will be performed at 7500 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21244.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220, entitled “Commercial and Institutional Building Construction” and the small business size standard is $45 million. All offerors submitting proposals on this project will be required to be certified to work within this NAICS code.
The estimated price range for the Project is $15,000,000 to $20,000,000.
