Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Develop a mental health and suicide prevention promotional campaign highlighting suicide prevention and postvention resources in Cecil County. a) Conduct at least 12 presentations (6 faith-based, 6 general public) in various community environments such as churches, schools, hospitals, senior centers, community outreach events, and local businesses. i) At least 150 attendees will be present at all presentations. Pre- and post-presentation measures will be used to assess impact and awareness. b) Launch the promotional campaign in the form of billboards, local newspapers, radio and/or television commercials, and social media, to reach at least 50,000 people. c) Translate promotional materials into Spanish, cross promoting the use of Language Line / translation 2) Collaborate with local community organizations to increase and expand awareness and support of mental health and suicide prevention initiatives. a) connect with at least 5 non-behavioral health organizations to provide promotional materials on mental health awareness, suicide prevention/postvention and resources. b) Connect with at least 1 speaker and/or individual with lived experience. Promote and provide community events with speaker discussing suicide prevention adn mental health awareness. c) Develop and maintain a list of local collaborating and/or interested organizations and individuals.
