Work shall consist of renovation of existing buildings, including offices, storage areas, salt domes, sheds, drawbridge houses, storage cabinets and other work as assigned. Carpentry services shall include, but are not limited to, demolition, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, masonry, sheetrock and taping; relocating/provide interior walls and petitions, suspended ceilings: repair/replace of moldings or trim, doors and door jambs; construct counters, bookcases etc, and coordination of the Work with other trades. Duties include the receipt of work assignments, review of work sites, estimates, planning of the project means and methods, preparation of the work area, protection of furniture and equipment and other no-work structures as well as cleaning of the work area upon completion. All work shall be quality work performed according to the standards of the carpentry industry and to the complete satisfaction of the State Highway Administration (SHA). SHA can perform on-site inspections at any time during the work. The Contractor shall be able to start all projects within five (5) working days of authorization from State Highway Administration (SHA). The Contractor shall complete each non-emergency job within the time specified in the project estimate.
