Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide a skilled carpenter that is considered a journeyman by carpentry standards. The carpenter shall be able to perform any and all tasks and use any or all tools and equipment typical of the carpentry trade. The Carpenter must be able to communicate proficiently in English, both verbally and in writing. Work shall consist of renovation and/or new construction of existing buildings, including offices, storage areas, salt domes, sheds, drawbridge houses, storage cabinets and other work as assigned. Carpentry services include, but are not limited to, demolition, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, masonry, sheetrock, and taping; relocating/provide interior walls and petitions, suspended ceilings: repair/replace of moldings or trim, doors and door jambs; construct counters, bookcases etc, and coordination of the Work with other trades. Duties include the receipt of work assignments, review of work sites, estimates, planning of the project means and methods, preparation of the work area, protection of furniture and equipment and other no-work structures as well as cleaning of the work area upon completion.
