he Board of Education of Anne Arundel County, also referred to as Anne Arundel County Public Schools or AACPS, is soliciting proposals for the 2026/2027 school year. AACPS is seeking a comprehensive textbook and digital program for the Advanced Placement (AP) World History: Modern course. This program should align with the AP World History: Modern Course and Exam Description. AACPS requests a program that not only aligns with the Advanced Placement Framework but also centers Inquiry as a key instructional practice as outlined in the College, Career and Civic Life Framework for Social Studies State Standards. The instructional program should center inclusive history, student centered learning opportunities and culturally responsive pedagogy. AACPS is seeking a program that has a full complement of universally designed learning opportunities as well as necessary accessibility for multilingual and other learners. This program should have a wealth of primary sources and authentic writing opportunities for teachers to implement.
