Specifications include, but are not limited to: Summary of Work: These specifications cover pilot hole drilling and the construction, testing and sampling of one (1) new 200 gpm production well for the Queen Anne’s County Sanitary District- Department of Public Works (QASDDPW). The new well will be located at Sanitary District’s Bridgepointe Water Treatment Plant, located off Bridgepointe Drive, east of Cox Neck Road, south of Route 50/301 in Chester, Maryland (Figure 1). The well will be screened in the Magothy aquifer between the approximate depths of 680 and 720 feet below land surface (bls). The work includes the installation of a new high efficiency submersible well pump and motor and a pitless adapter unit. Also included will be the abandonment of one (1) existing Magothy aquifer well located adjacent to the water treatment plant building. NOTE: all work to connect the new well to the water treatment plant and provide permanent electrical service to the well will be performed by the Owner.
