The purpose of the project is for the installation of erosion control measures along Black Walnut Point Road in the Black Walnut Point Natural Resources Management Area in Tilghman Island, Maryland. Project is to include all supporting work necessary to ensure that the completion of work as described is in compliance with all applicable Maryland State codes, DGS, DNR standards and regulations. The work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization. 2. Construction Stakeout. 3. Installation of sediment and erosion control measures. 4. Level, grade, and reinforce approximately 2,120 linear feet of existing 15-foot wide gravel roadway. Work shall consist of miscellaneous installation of 8” graded aggregate base (GAB) material on an as-needed basis covering all areas of bare/eroded roadway within work limits. Include 23 TON of 8” GAB installation in lump sum base bids to be supplemented with unit price cost as needed. 5. Remove & segregate existing armor stones from shoreline. 6. Level and grade existing eroding shoreline. 7. Construct stone revetment with excavated toe, armor layer, and apron. 8. Plant landscaping and mitigation measures.
