Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide direct support and consultation to classroom teams on behavior reduction, classroom management, crisis intervention, and skill acquisition as part of a Behavior Intervention Plan Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, as needed Provide initial and ongoing training to staff on principles of applied behavior analysis, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments, developing, implementing and evaluating Behavior Intervention Plans Provide family support and consultation through home visits and/or school conferences to ensure consistency from home to school Provide modeling, support and clear expectations in crisis intervention Participate as a member of IEP and IFSP team meetings for targeted students Serve as a resource to the Director of Special Education, Supervisors of Special Education, Autism Spectrum Facilitators, Behavior Specialists, and other staff as appropriate in areas of applied behavior analysis and behavioral intervention Respond effectively to parent, school staff and administrator concerns Provision and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
