Specifications include, but are not limited to: auctioneer and simulcasting services for vehicles, trucks and road equipment covered by this contract which the County may require during the period of time specified. The quantities shown are approximate and are for the purpose of bid evaluation. 1.1.1 Vehicles – Automobiles, light duty trucks and sport utility vehicles. 1.1.2 Trucks (medium and heavy duty in excess of 16,000# GVWR). 1.1.3 Equipment (Construction, roadwork, landfill, tractors and riding mowers). 1.1.4 Small engine equipment (blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, tampers, walk behind mowers and generators). 1.1.5 Items not otherwise specified (new or used tires, parts and accessories, snow plows, floor jacks, etc.); 1.1 The Contractor shall provide auctioneering and simulcasting services for the sale of surplus Baltimore County owned vehicles, trucks and off road equipment on an “on call” basis as required by Baltimore County. 1.2 Vehicles, Trucks, and Equipment to be auctioned. 1.2.1 Vehicle Operations and Maintenance shall have approximately 250 vehicles to be sold each contract year. This estimate represents a combination of automobiles, police vehicles, light trucks, and vans. 1.2.2 Equipment Operations and Maintenance shall have a combination of approximately 50 special purpose vehicles/heavy equipment to be sold each contract year. Special purpose vehicles/heavy equipment include such items as sweepers, mowers, tractors, rollers, loaders, bull dozers, etc. 1.3 The Baltimore County surplus vehicles will be sold only to licensed dealers and dismantlers on an “as is” basis without guaranteed mileage or condition, and without a State of Maryland inspection certificate.
