The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Program, is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) to identify organizations to provide training services for AOT Implementation inclusive of (1) providing training, either virtually or in-person, to AOT program staff inclusive of AOT Care Coordination Team (CCT) members and AOT program leads and stakeholders relevant to AOT program operations, inclusive of local behavioral health authorities and health departments, community provider organizations, and other key stakeholders including but not limited to members of the judiciary, state’s attorney, public defender and corrections; (2) establishing a web and log-in based training resource library for jurisdictions implementing AOT programs and employing an AOT CCT with training resource for AOT program staff inclusive of the CCT; and (3) establishing a public face training resource library with training materials for stakeholders relevant to AOT program operations, inclusive of community provider organizations, judiciary (e.g., clerks of the court), legal (e.g., office of the Public Defender), correctional, and the community.
