Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Prevention and Health Promotion Administration, Bureau of Maternal and Child Health, Office of Family and Community Health Services, is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications to conduct a Needs Assessment to promote strategic program development for the Adolescent Health program throughout Maryland. Key Objectives for Project ● Describe the landscape of sexuality education within the state of Maryland and by county ● Assess alignment of current sexual health education implementation with state and national standards ● Identify and address gaps in current data ● Identify assets, such as Youth Advisory Boards and condom availability programs, by county and statewide to support scale-up ● Locate youth-friendly services to identify service prioritization ● Develop indicators of need to be used for funding purposes and prioritization ● Provide recommendations for policy and program changes ● Center youth voice in assessment design, deployment, and reporting
