Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) within the Maryland Department of Health (the Department, MDH) is soliciting for the Purchase and Installation of access controls on exterior and interior doors on Cottage 3 and Cottage 4. Current Access Control system in place is Verex by Interlogic. Director v4.91 software is in place. Contractor is responsible to attend pre-bid meeting to receive a site walkthrough and see identified doors and create necessary list to complete identified work. Mag locks and door hardware provided need to be for high security environment (ie. strong). Verex network panel and one (1) door is currently installed on Cottage 3. Cottage 4 does not have Verex in place - contractor will install necessary Verex hardware to connect building to network and control doors. Contractor will install necessary additional Verex door panels and door hardware (maglock, strikeplate, wiring, etc) on identified doors and connect to existing Verex system on both Cottage 3 and Cottage 4. Electrical outlets for doors/panels will be provided by Potomac Center in the wire closet rooms. Contractor will install same type of combination PIN/Proxy readers on both sides of all doors being access controlled as are throughout the property. The only exception to this are Mechanical Rooms (E67 & E74) and the Cottage 4 Medroom (118) -- These locations will have a push-to-exit button installed on the interior. Contractor will set up system for proxy cards and provide all necessary information for those cards (facility ID, card type, etc). Contractor will also show user(s) how to issue proxy cards through the Director software. Contractor will provide 500 proxy cards that will work with existing Verex system. Provided cards need to provide a high level of security/encryption. Contractor will replace existing seven (7) PIN only keypads with PIN/Proxy Readers that match existing installed readers throughout the property. These are at the pool, Cottage 6 and Cottage 5. The locations are identified on floor plans and a photo of the readers are provided. All network wiring between access controls and wire closet is to be UTP solid plenum Cat6. Contractor to provide Leviton Cat6+ eXtreme 61110-BE6 (black in color) quick port connector jack(s) and terminate into them at the data closet. These jacks will then be installed into existing Leviton modular patch panels on each building. Terminations are to meet TIA/EIA 568b standards.
