Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of Maryland University Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking firm(s) to provide commencement related items to include regalia (purchased and rented), school rings, diploma frames, graduation announcements, and thank-you cards. UMGC does not have a bookstore for regalia and ring ordering. Other miscellaneous commencement related items may be ordered as needed. Firms do not have to submit proposals for both Programs. Contractor shall: • Attend on-site (at no charge to UMGC) all Grad Walk/Commencement ceremonies and events currently held in spring and winter. Other dates may be added as necessary. • Be solely responsible for all payment issues with students. • Accept cash and checks, along with major credit and debit cards, for on-site sales. Other forms of payment are at the Contractor’s discretion. • Be responsible for selling and reconciling all student transactions. UMGC has no responsibility and is under no obligation to reimburse the Contractor for uncollected payments, including deposits.
