It is the County’s intent to enter into contracts with three (3) top scored Contractors, based on offerors’ technical and price proposal evaluation, to provide Bridge, Culvert and Retaining Wall construction services on an as-needed basis. The County will issue a Task Order Package to all three Contractors selected when a project arises, and one (1) Contractor will be selected for award of the Task Order based on lowest-price bid (subject to funding and cost reasonableness criteria).
The County expects all the three (3) Contractors who are awarded a Contract to bid on all Task Orders issued. The County, at its sole option, reserves the right NOT to renew
(extend) the Contract of any Contractor who fails to Bid on more than 75% of Task Orders issued by DTE in a Contract year.
If a Contract is not renewed (extended), the County, at its sole option, may choose to re- advertise the RFP to replace that Contractor only, commensurate with the terms and conditions of the existing contracts resulting from this solicitation, in order to bring the total number of contracts to 3.
Statewide
